It's Electro, it was seen that he could disappear in the atmosphere. They could play it either way.

MJ only screams and is the damsel in distress in the original trilogy. Don't compare this version of Gwen Stacy to the original trilogy's Mary Jane, compare this Gwen Stacy to the Raimi version and see how much better they made her. If you've ever played Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, you'd know that she is a much more helpful character. The writers made Gwen Stacy a good character, they can do the same with Mary Jane.

Marc Webb has expressed interest in bringing in Kraven, he could possibly be the main villain. I presume it's a set up as well for Sinister Six and also other films. Andrew Garfield could return if he renews his contract, and he is a Spider-Man fan.

I really did like the film as well, a lot better than the first in my opinion. I watched it in 3D first because 2D wasn't an option the first day, but I saw it again in 2D and I thought both were good. I do prefer 2D though. Shocker has been mentioned a lot in the Daily Bugle Tumblr site. I'm not exactly sure about the clothes-line easter egg but I will look and see. I believe it's at the end of the first film.

I didn't know about it then before I saw it because I don't think there was any news about that at that time, I was really surprised and it was a great scene.

I think it was fine, it wasn't rushed. Mary Jane was going to be in the second film but was cut because of what was going on. She should be in the third film but it's possible she will be replaced. Also many people complain about Mary Jane here, I don't know why. She is great. I think many people base it off the previous movies which she wasn't that good in. She's a lot better in the comics. In the comics, while Peter is with MJ, he still mourns her death and she understands which would be great to explore in the third film.

Instead of seeing a Spider-Man related end-credits scene for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, we see a clip of Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Toad (Evan Jonigkeit), William Stryker (Josh Helman) and Havok (Lucas Till) where Mystique engages a group of military men and gets to show off her trademark fighting skills. Many have speculated that this means a crossover, but don't get your hopes up too high. Marc Webb had deals with Fox (who owns the X-Men) but was unable to due to The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Fox and Sony made a deal the Sony would help advertise X-Men: Days of Future Past for free.

I am adding content for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 since I have seen it. There is a category called spoiler that whenever you click on that page, a message will come up saying whether you'd want to view it or not, which will say major spoilers of the film if you haven't seen it already. Please also be aware to try not to spoil the movie for others as well since in the US, the movie doesn't come out until May 2nd.

They will not add Deadpool. This is a movie game and Deadpool is owned by Fox. Spider-Man is owned by Sony.
