  2. Rajit Ratha was born in March 1967 and died in the age of 46. 1967+46 = 2013. This means Rajit Ratha was killed by the Lizard (in a deleted scene) in March 2013.
  3. A car is seen with the date of "3 13"
  4. May's calendar matches with January 2013. During a chase scene, there is a car registration dated March 2013. Gwen's calendar matches March 2013. While there is a Daily Bugle newspaper with an October 12 2012 date, the Daily Bugle Tumblr states that Rajit Ratha, born March 13 1967, dies at 46 years old, meaning his death takes place after March 13 2013. Another Tumblr article shows how crime has grown exponentially from March to August since the Lizard.

  6. There are many controversies for the timeline for The Amazing Spider-Man.
    • First, Peter seems to be 17, and his birth was 1995 (see Spider-Man references) and 17 would mean The Amazing Spider-Man takes place at 2012.
    • Furthermore, there are calenders from the film that have a year "2012" or "2013". Several sources like Wikipedia say it takes place at 2012, while others like Marvel Database say otherwise. This can show the inconsistency with the timeline, which proves that giving the specific year "2012" or "2013" has barely any proof. For example
    • For now, there isn't a proof for the specific date, but there are more sources that say the film takes place at 2013 than 2012.
