Hero is a difficulty in the video game The Amazing Spider-Man. It is basically the medium difficulty for the game, as it comes between the difficulties Human (easiest) and Super Hero (hardest). Once the player completes the game's story mode in this difficulty, they will be given the achievement "Vigilante" (and "Peter Parker" if they haven't gotten it already).
In Hero difficulty, stealth combat will be more open to players, letting them freely move around in the shadows. Additionally, enemies and bosses will be harder than they are in the Human difficulty: shooting guns and slashing claws (depending on the enemy) more frequently.
