Mercenaries are a hardy type of thug appearing in the video game The Amazing Spider-Man. They're roving bands of ex-military thugs taking advantage of a city in unrest.

Mercenaries come in sleek, good-looking jackets and have a black ski mask with the bottom half of a skull covering his nose and mouth.
Combat[]
The Mercenaries' weapons are top-of-the-line black market and their moral compasses are completey out of whack; they come almost fully armed with bullet-proof vests hanging about their chests under their nice jackets.
