Rhino's Rampage in New York was a rampage orchestrated by Rhino, who escapes from the Vault with the help of Gustav Fiers, and give him a large metal exo-suit, starting rampage across Manhattan. The rampage ended when Spider-Man returned after a five-month hiatus and defeats Rhino.

Aleksei was defeated by Spider-Man
Aleksei Sytsevich was a criminal, who in 2014, he and two of his associates hijacked an Oscorp van containing vials of plutonium. Sytsevich was the driver of the truck while his comrades secured the goods. However, Spider-Man intervened and webbed up Sytsevich's allies, handing them over to the police. Sytsevich continued to flee in the truck, causing a great deal of damage to other vehicles on the road and a number of police cars. Spider-Man confronted Sytsevich face-to-face, using his spider sense to dodge the rapid fire of Sytsevich's machine gun. Spider-Man disarmed him and then webbed each wrist to the walls opposite so his arms were crossed over his chest. Spider-Man proceeded to pull down Sytsevich's pants to humiliate him further, and later he was arrested and took into the Vault on Ryker's Island.

A few months later, Harry Osborn plotted with the mysterious Oscorp representative Gustav Fiers in the Ravencroft Institute about setting a team and their first candidate was Aleksei. For the creation of the team, Fiers broke out Sytsevich from the Vault and give him a large metal exo-suit created by Oscorp. Aleksei then took to the streets of New York City, a city which haven't seen Spider-Man since his confrontation five months ago, and he starting rampage across Manhattan.[1]

Spider-Man successfully defeats Rhino
As the rampage started brutally, the NYPD tried to stop Aleksei, but he with the exo-suit was unstoppable. Also, he started began himself as "The Rhino".
In the middle of the rampage, a kid dressed as Spider-Man, who Spider-Man had helped out earlier, stepped out in front of Rhino, trying to make a stand. Rhino mocked the child when the real Spider-Man arrived on the scene. Rhino began to charge at Spider-Man who leaped in the air using a manhole cover as a weapon,[1] and successfully defeats him.[2]

Spider-Man lamely mentions his actions with Rhino to Spider-Men in an alternate 2024
In the following years of the rampage, Peter Parker continued his activities as Spider-Man, although not without brutality.
One day in 2024, Peter accidentally traveled to another universe by a spell orchestrated by Doctor Strange. During his multiversal adventure, he lamely mentions his battle with Rhino to the two Spider-Man, as comparison with the other Spider-Men's actions.[2]
