On December 27, a Midtown bank heist was foiled by Spider-Man who caught the mechanically-augmented robber, suspected in two previous bank heists, as he fled the scene with the stolen loot. Spider-Man finished webbing up by Shocker as the police got there. NYPD Special Crimes Unit Detective Stan Carter stated that Schultz had officially been remanded into custody and is being held at the Ravencroft Institute pending his preliminary hearing.
Video Game Continuity[edit | edit source]
Herman Schultz is an arms dealer who appears in the first level of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Video Game when Spider-Man goes searching for Uncle Ben's killer in the back alleys of New York City. When Spider-Man finds him the two battle but Spidey easily comes out the victor he then interrogate him on the whereabouts of Uncle Ben's killer. In the second level of the game in the Oscorp Tower Spider-Man encounters him whilst the Russian and American mobs are having a war over Oscorp weaponry. Herman Schultz being one of these thugs steals a seismic harness, an Oscorp tech weapon and also wearing a yellow and brown balaclava calling himself the "Shocker". Despite his newly acquired technology Spider-Man defeats, interrogates him again and leaves him webbed up for police.

- In The Amazing Spider-Man, there is a scene where Spider-Man is web swinging over an alley way and you get a glimpse of a yellow and red pair of trousers hanging on a washing line for a brief second.
