Spider-Man Suit

The Spider-Man Suit, known as the Amazing Suit^[1], is a specialized suit used by Peter Parker in his exploits as a superhero. Parker created his first suit as a means to protect his identity after the death of his Uncle Ben, having decided to use his spider-like powers to prevent the similar crimes occurring frequently in New York. Originally consisting of a beanie worn over a red mask fitted with dark yellow eye lenses created from sunglasses and web-shooters made from Oscorp's bio-cable pellets, the suit received a major overhaul when it was updated to include a matching spandex bodysuit, webbing-shaped patterns and spider symbols. Peter would use this suit to combat a mutated, berserk Curt Connors in the latter's campaign to cause a Cross-Species Viral Apocalypse with his Lizard Serum loaded in the Ganali Device, and continued to use it a year later in his efforts to prevent everyday crime in New York.

However, the suit was severely damaged when Parker fell into a centrifuge in a battle with the Russian Mob, rendering it virtually irreparable. As a result, Parker collaborated with Gwen Stacy to create a simpler, more expressive suit for him to use regularly, with large white eye lenses, raised rubber webbing patterns, and updated web-shooters. Parker wore this new suit in his conflict with Electro and Harry Osborn, using it in a battle at Times Square and later in a fight at the Clock Tower. However, the latter battle resulted in Gwen's death, causing the grief-stricken Peter to ignore his duties as Spider-Man and discard the suit for a period of five months before finally returning to his duties as Spider-Man and donning it to fight the Rhino.

History[]

Vigilante Suit[]

While Peter was being chased by criminals across rooftops he fell into an abandoned gym. There a luchador wrestling poster inspired him to create a mask to hide his identity. He created a red mask by sewing it together and wore it with sunglasses and a beanie over it along with a jacket, black shirt, dark jeans and Convese Chuck Taylor shoes. He used this outfit to hunt down criminals.

Spider-Man Suit[]

Peter later created and upgraded the Spider-Man suit made from spandex and modified his mask to have the lenses from the sunglasses fused over the eye sockets. He used the suit to fight crime and save people. During his battle with the Lizard the suit was damaged when the Lizard slashed Peter across the chest with his claws. After the Lizard reverted back to Doctor Connors and was incarcerated in prison and the death of George Stacy, Peter made spare Spider-Man suits and continued fighting crime as Spider-Man.

The New Spider-Man Suit[]

Amazing Suit 2 — The new suit was made by both Peter Parker and his girlfriend, Gwendolyne Stacy.

Peter later discarded his old spare Spider-Man suit and began wearing the new Spider-Man suit which he and Gwen had designed together. The upgraded suit was red and blue with black web lines all over it. Like the previous suit, it had the spiders having long lower legs on both the back and front of the shirt. The lenses in the mask were replaced with white one way mirror type lenses rimmed with black. Peter used the suit to fight crime and battle against Aleksei Sytsevich, Electro and Green Goblin. After Gwen's death, Peter discarded the suit but wore it again when battling the Rhino.

Multiversal Adventure[]

When he was unintentionally transported from Earth-120703 to Earth-199999, Peter had his Spider-Man suit while was looking for his counterpart when he found out to his horror, that he was framed by Mysterio for crimes he didn't commit and had his identity exposed publically.
