Stephen Keith Kloves is an American screenwriter, producer, and director. He is one of the three screenwriters, along with Alvin Sargent and James Vanderbilt, for the film The Amazing Spider-Man (2012).
Outside of this, Kloves is best known for writing almost the entirety of the Harry Potter film series (2001-2011) (with the exception of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007), which was by Michael Goldenberg), as well as writing/directing The Fabulous Baker Boys (1989) and Flesh and Bone (1993), as well as writing Wonder Boys (2000). He also helped produce the Fantastic Beasts film series (2016-2022) and Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle (2018) (which was written by his daughter Callie).
