The Venom Symbiote is an amorphous extraterrestrial parasite that was attached with Scorpion during the events of the video game The Amazing Spider-Man. It is hinted to appear in the film The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Biography
The symbiote was found by Otto Octavius in one of Oscorp Industries' fallen satellites. It was then bonded to cross-species Scorpion to give it a more powerful effect. After Spider-Man defeated Scorpion, the symbiote removed itself from the creature and its current whereabouts are unknown.
It is possible the symbiote (or some part of it) is being kept secret in a small cabinet in one of Oscorp's Labs, as hinted by The Amazing Spider-Man and its sequel director Marc Webb in a Twitter post.[2][3].

- In other Spider-Man media, this certain symbiote is named "Venom" and is one of Spider-Man's most famous and most dangerous enemies.
