  • The franchise has had mixed reviews over it's films. This mostly goes to The Amazing Spider-Man 2's perfomance.
  • Spider-Man: No Way Home brings back the series with the return of it's characters. This includes Lizard, Electro and this universe's Spider-Man.
  • After the infamous Sony hack of 2014, all future plans for the series were cancelled. And thus, films like The Amazing Spider-Man 3 will never see the light of day.
