After the events of the previous video game, Peter Parker would fight with a group of villains known as The Sinister Six and Peter would fight crime known as Spider-Man.

- Before the cancellation of the third movie of The Amazing Spider-Man 3, it was supposed that the third video game based on the movie and was also being prepared to be released in 2016. With the problem of development and production, the video game was canceled.
