The Lizard Rampage in Manhattan was a conflict when Dr. Connors became a Lizard in 2013 using a serum to regrow his lost right limb. The serum not just gave him another arm, it turned him into a Lizard. When in Lizard form, he believed that he had achieved the next stage of human evolution. The Lizard wanted to turn every human in Manhattan, New York into lizards. However, he was defeated and ultimately cured by Spider-Man, who put an end to his plans, curing him and reverting Lizard back to human form.
